• Project Description: We want to create a system of assessment and control of forest fires through the use of new technologies. This system known as FCU (Fire Under Control) will consist of safety devices, diagnostics and management. The security apparatus is composed of digital cameras in black and white (CONTROL TOWER "A"), pyroelectric sensors, flame (CONTROL TOWER "B") and temperature sensors with wireless connection (HOT SENTINEL). The information transmission system uses satellite technology that will allow you to send messages containing all the necessary information and surveys. Overview: The FCU is a tool for fire management, and integrates with systems like GIS (Geographic Information System). The heart of the FCU is the operations center that will have a management system to display, process and store all data from the areas under surveillance. The data transmitted from the control systems and the weather station will contain only images with the directions concerning the climatic conditions of the land subject to control and data related to the morphological structure. The FCU can therefore be considered an important tool for the management and fire fighting can provide the following services: Automatic monitoring or areas of interest Automatic detection of smoke or Automatic identification of hot spots or areas monitored o Identification of the coordinates of the foci Photographs or real-time portion of land affected by fire o Information for the coordination of activities off Interface modules, or GIS. Therefore, the processing of received data and real-time monitoring will allow the FCU, the immediacy of the event, the GPS location of the outbreak of fire. The metrological data and place names will immediately indicate the degree and direction of propagation of the same.
